DELHI VISIT-1

We embarked upon a three day trip to Delhi with the intention of seeking support for Global Ayurveda Festival 1-5 December 2023. We met Shri Sarbananda Sonowal (Minister of AYUSH), Shri. Narayan Rane (Minister of MSM Enterprises) and Shri. Ajay Bhatt (Minister of State for Tourism). They readily agreed to promote, support and participate, involving the ministries, in GAF 2023.
We also met Shri. Abhishek Singh, Joint Secretary Economic Diplomacy Division, Ministry of External Affairs. It is now confirmed that GAF 2023 will have the participation of/from 75 countries. MEA will play a major role in inviting and facilitating foreign participation.
We also got confirmation from industry partners like Dabur, Aimil, Patanjali and Kairali about their support and participation.
In short, the political and industrial responses were immensely positive, and unprecedented, giving us the confidence to make GAF 2023 a path breaking event, as envisaged.
